Announced todayduring a special ID@XBox Showcase stream, Stardew Valley and five other video games will be coming to Microsoft’s popular Xbox Game Pass subscription service later this year for both Xbox consoles and Windows PCs.
Stardew Valley has continued to be a surprise hit on every platform it’s launched on since early-2016. The title is a blend of roleplaying and farm simulation genres and boasts a cute retro art style that has attracted a rather diverse playerbase.
No specific date for Stardew Valley’s Xbox Game Pass debut was revealed though it is promised to come sometime in Fall 2021.
Joining Stardew Valley on Xbox Game Pass is Library of Ruina which came out today on console, The Artful Escape on September 9th on console, Aragami 2 on September 17th on console, Evil Genius 2: World Domination on console in winter 2021, and Pupparazzi on console at an unspecified date in the future.
As mentioned above, Library of Ruina is already available to play on Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles either as a regular purchase or for free with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. This title is alsoplayable via the Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming servicefor those with access and a compatible device.
