In a previous post, we reported that Microsoft releasednew Windows 10 Cumulative Updatesto fix various issues with some UK government websites.
Now, the company released another batch of firmware and driver updates for various Surface devices.
Windows Insiders who are currently runningWindows 10v1903 can now install the latestupdates. The release of both of theseupdatesis an indication that Microsoft is gearing up for the release of May 2019 Update this week.
Microsoft released these driverupdatesfor almost all the supported Surface models. However, the company skippedSurfaceGoLTE Advancedand Wi-Fi only editions. It is surprising to see that Microsoft is still supporting its 5 years old Surface Pro 3.
The tech giant released network adapters updates forSurface Studio 2 devicesincluding Bluetooth and Ethernet. Microsoft covered various components of theSurface Pro 6 devicein its recent series ofupdates.
Surface Pro 6 known issues
However, the company acknowledged a known issue that affectsSurface Pro6 devices. The company says that the Intel Graphics Control Panel is not compatible with the device. You can avoid any potential issues by uninstalling the application until the company has fixed the issue.
Furthermore, Microsoft released a long list ofupdatestoSurface Laptop 2 devices.This release also introduced some known issues, including the Intel Graphics Control Panel hittingSurface Pro6.
Similarupdateswere also rolled out toSurface Book 2,first-gen Surface Laptopand thefifth-gen Surface Prodevices.
Thankfully, the list ofupdatesforSurface Studiowas relatively small. Theseupdateswere related to network devices. Moreover, theSurface Pro 4and theSurface Bookreceived a series of system updates alongside theupdatesforBluetooth, and camera.

New Surface Books 2 and Surface Pro 6 models coming in June
Some recent reports suggest that Microsoft is releasingnew variantsfor theSurface Book2 andSurface Pro6 laptops.
Notably, Microsoft is yet to confirm the upcoming models that are expected to arrive on the 18th of June. Some specifications mentioned on the Best Buy Canada website confirm that both models will feature a Core i5 processor, 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM.
