What you need to know
Microsoft recently rolled out a firmware update for theSurface Pro Xwith an SQ2 processor. The update has a lengthy list of stability improvements. As is normally the case, it doesn’t have any new features.
All of the changes are under the Microsoft Corporation - System Hardware Update section. Several of the changes list “merges support for both Surface Pro X SQ1 and SQ2 devices” as one of their changes.

The update started rolling out on April 22, 2021, so you should see it now on your Surface Pro X.
