If you rely on a third-party antivirus and you’re planning to upgrade to the Creators Update, don’t forget to check if there are any limitations when running it on the new OS. Since the Creators Update is not compatible with aseries of hardwareand software products, it may cause serious issues to computers. Kaspersky has already published a list of its security products with limitations on Windows 10 Creators Update.

While you can still run Kasperky’s security products with the Creators Update, a series of security features will be unavailable. Keep in mind that when you install Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 or Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2017 on the Creators Update, on first startup the programs will run the adaptation process. During this process, protection will be paused and only two tools will be functional: File Anti-Virus and Self-Defense of files and registry.
