While the Viking-themed survival gameValheimis only playable from a fixed third-person perspective in the vanilla game, a new mod has been released by modder Brandon Mousseau that allows players to enjoy the game in VR. At the moment the mod doesn’t support motion controls, but one of Mousseau’s colleagues has confirmed that motion control functionality will be coming in a future update. You can view gameplay of the mod below.

The mod is completely free to download, which you can dohere. It’s important to note that you’ll need a SteamVR-compatible headset and a considerably powerful PC in order to play Valheim in VR. Additionally, you can play with your friends (regardless of whether they’re also using the mod or not) while using this mod, as it’s designed to be completely co-op compatible.
