If you’re enrolled in Microsoft’s Slow Ring Insider Program, you can nowdownloada newWindows 10v1903 build.

Windows 10 build 18342is now available fordownloadafter Fast Ring Insiders tested it for three weeks.

The build is not available for all Insiders

However, keep in mind that not all the Slow Ring Insiders candownloadand install this build release. Certain game titles may triggerGSOD errorsif you install this build on your computer.

In order to avoid such unpleasant technical issues, Microsoft decided to block build 18342 on the computers where these particular games are installed.

We’ve also added an upgrade block for users of the most common games that are impacted by the GSOD discussed in the known issues below. If you uninstall the affected games, you can get the update

While the Redmond giant didn’t list the games that are affected by this problem, it mentioned that “Launching games that use anti-cheat software may trigger a bugcheck“.

So, if yourfavorite gamesare protected byanti-cheat software, then you won’t be able to install theWindows 10build 18342 at this moment.

As stated above, the only solution to get rid of this block is touninstall the respective games.

Anyway, if you get any GSOD errors on your computer, usethis troubleshooting guideto fix the problems.

At the same time, there is also a second category of users who won’t be able todownloadthe latest Slow Ring Insider build. Namely, users who utilize ZH-CN as their base languages. Microsoft explains that:

PCs with the base language ZH-CN will not receive this update due to an issue that’s causing many common Chinese games to crash on launch.
