Microsoft releasedWindows 10Insider Preview Build18941 (20H1)toWindows Insidersin theFast ring, but the update comes with some fair warnings.

If you’re a Fast ring insider, check out thisimportant messagefrom the company:

IMPORTANT: As is normal with builds early in the development cycle, these builds may contain bugs that might be painful for some. If you take this flight, you won’t be able to switch Slow or Release Preview rings without doing a clean-install on your PC. If you wish to remain on 19H1, please change your ring settings via Settings > Update & Security >Windows Insider Programbefore taking this flight.

Remember, if you’re in the Fast ring and want to get your hands on the new build right away, keep in mind that there may be potential bugs and issues.

What’s new inWindows 10 Insider PreviewBuild 18941?

There are no notable new features, but Microsoft included a series of fixes as it follows:

What issue can I expect if I update to Windows 10 build 18941?

The most important know issue is the error code c1900101. If you’ve tried to install Build 18936 or Build 18941 and failed, than this error may seem familiar.

Error code c1900101 is related toa compatibility bug with a storage driver on their device andcan create boot loops and other issues, but the good news is that you can roll back to the previous build.

Other know issues include: crashes related toolder versions of anti-cheat software, Realtek SD card readers not functioning properly, and Tamper Protection may be turned off in Windows Security after the update.
