Recent reports suggest that there is a hugedifference in processor usage betweenWindows 10onARMand theemulated x86 version.

It seems like we are getting some fruitful results due to the recent collaboration between Microsoft and Google. An unofficial version of theChromium rendering engineforWindows 10onARMis already available online.

Now we can see that this unofficial version is worth downloading.TheARM64ChromiumbrowserforWindows 10ARMwas recentlycomparedto itsx86version. We’ll list the results below.

Huge difference in CPU usage

The experiment proved thatthe nativeARMversion used around 10% processor resources. However, thex86version on AsusSnapdragon-poweredWindows 10system consumes more than 60% CPU.

There is a significant difference between both versions of Chromium. TheARM64version of Chromiumstarts faster as compared tothe nativeMicrosoft EdgeandARM64beta of the Firefoxbrowser. Thebrowseralsoprovides faster browsingin its first release.
