Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday updates for February 2021 are rolling out to several versions of Windows 10. There are updates available for Windows 10 versions 20H2, 2004, 1909, and several older versions. The updates address several issues with the operating system, including an issue that might damage the file system of some devices and prevent them from starting up after running chkdsk /f. The updates also include security updates.

Windows 10 version 20H2 and 2004 share a common core operating system and have an identical set of system files. Because of this, the versions share anupdate history page. Here’s what’s new for versions 20H2 and 2004:
