All Windows 10 users will get News and Interests in their taskbar in the coming weeks

A newNews and Interests section is set to arrive in the taskbar for all Windows 10 usersover the coming weeks. The new section is designed to surface local weather, news, stocks, traffic, and other relevant information, removing the need to open any specific apps to get the latest updates.

Surface Laptop 4 welcomes AMD to its Secure Core certification

Starting with the Surface Laptop 4,AMD has been added to Microsoft’s Secure Core certification, adding support for AMD’s Ryzen processors, helping further bolster security.

Microsoft is reportedly planning big changes for its Windows 10 app store

TheMicrosoft Store on Windows 10 app could be set to receive an overhaul, as Microsoft is reportedly planning some large changes to help improve adoption of the Windows 10 app store. One of the core changes that could arrive is the ability for developers to submit .EXE or .MSI packages directly to the store, negating the need for developers to package their software up separately for the store. Developers may also gain the ability to use their own payment system for in-app purchases, helping maximise their income by removing Microsoft’s app store fee for payments.

Xbox Cloud Gaming on Windows 10 PCs enters private beta

Game streaming has finally begun to arrive for Windows 10 PCs, as Microsoft has launched the private beta for Xbox Cloud Gaming. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are beginning to receive invites to the beta, enabling them to stream games to their Windows 10 PCs, and other devices with supported browsers, such as iOS.
