Microsoft hasannounced the rolloutof Windows Holographic version 20H2. Now available via Windows Update, the release brings some new features to HoloLens 2 and HoloLens headsets, including auto eye positioning, a certificate manager in settings, and improved Kiosk Mode functionality.
With the new auto eye position support, HoloLens 2 will now actively compute eye positions without users going through Eye Tracking calibration. In addition, the certificate manager allows new simpler methods to install and remove certificates from the Settings app. Some of the other changes can be seen below, and the full list is availableat Microsoft here.
Once available for download, users should see that Windows Holographic version 20H2 will appear as a monthly update to Windows Update. The build number will remain the same, and Windows Update will show a monthly release to version 2004, build 19041. More information on how to download the updateis available here.
