The Xbox app updated earlier today for both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. This latest update brings the app to Version 2011.1117.2133 on Android and Version 2011.1117.2218 on iOS and adds the ability to upload a custom gamerpic avatar from a device’s photo library and create group chats via the Chats tab.

The Xbox app allows gamers to manage their Xbox video game library, control their Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles, and communicate with friends from their tablet and smartphone. A Windows 10 Xbox app is also available and all three versionsreceived a rather significant design revamp recentlythat modernized the experience for the launch of the newer Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles.
