Microsoft has announced a range of new titles headed toXbox Game Pass, its game subscription service for console and PC, as a part of itsE3 2021press conference. The company announced several additions soon headed to the service during its 90-minute showcase, from various Microsoft and Bethesda properties to a handful of third-party deals. Highlights include past Bethesda classics, including the complete mainline Fallout series, and the original PC hit from 1997.

New Bethesda games continue to expand the Xbox Game Pass library, following Microsoft’s acquisition of parent ZeniMax Media back in September. The deal, worth $7.5 billion, has seen the platform holder bring an extensive back catalog of Bethesda-published titles to Xbox Game Pass while embracing various backward compatibility features likeFPS Booston Xbox Series X|S. The games join the hundreds ofXbox Game Pass games for Xbox consoles, and an equally extensive list of Xbox Game Pass PC games.

The latest titles include many absences that remained excluded from Xbox Game Pass offerings while still playable Xbox consoles and PC. Titles like DOOM (2016) and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus were previously available via the subscription, but removed prior to the Bethesda acquisition. The complete Fallout series also provides the entire experience to date, joining existing games in the post-apocalyptic series, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. However, earlier Fallout titles from Interplay Entertainment remain PC exclusive, with their top-down turn-based gameplay never making the leap to console.
