Starting today and continuing through the weekend, Microsoft is enabling online multiplayer for all users of its Xbox One console, with or without a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. This means a subscription will not be required to play on multiplayer-only titles, such as Fortnite, Overwatch, and Elder Scrolls: Online, or any other other multiplayer game for that matter.
Xbox Live members without Gold can play online multiplayer free January 31-February 3. Now’s a great time to enjoy the ever popular@FortniteGamehttps://t.co/RLO4Jw3VHnpic.twitter.com/xsxFKmrKXS

If you’ve been trying to convince a friend who isn’t willing to shell out the few bucks a month for Xbox Live Gold, now’s the chance to try out online multiplayer in action to help him or her realize they can’t live without it. The promotion is running for just four days only, starting today (January 31) and ending on February 3.
This is also a good way to help pass the time before thenext season of Inside Xbox, which will be livestreamed February 5. As we already mentioned, you’ll be able to stream it on Mixer, plus other platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, and earn free goodies if you use Microsoft’s streaming alternative over the others.
How will you be taking advantage of the promotion? Do you know any body that would benefit from it? Your thoughts are welcome below.
