Jonathon Stebel, Communications Manager, Sega of America announced this weekend’s Free Play Days onXbox Wire. Starting now until October 4th, Xbox Live Gold can playYakuza 0,Yakuza Kiwami, andYakuza Kiwami 2free all weekend long. Here’s Stebel’s take on what the Sega’s Yakuza series is all about.
“Yakuza is, at its core, a series about a bunch of very serious men doing very silly things. There’s no shortage of drama, intrigue, and genuinely emotional moments to keep you hooked. but you can also take a break with some of the most hilarious minigames and substories you’ll ever experience – build tiny cars and race in the Pocket Circuit Stadium, manage a Cabaret, compete in dance fights at the disco, and so many more. Each game also takes place in a painstakingly detailed recreation of a real Japanese city. Consider it the perfect virtual tourism experience.”
Yakuza 0 wasadded to Xbox Game Pass in February, followed byYakuza Kiwami in April, and Yakuza Kiwami 2launched on Xbox Game Pass at the end of July. As always, Xbox Live Gold members can download all three games through Xbox.com or via their console dashboard. The special Yakuza Free Play Days weekend is in preparation of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, landing on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch day on November 10, 2020.Yakuza: Like a Dragon is available for pre-order nowand will also be available on other platforms, including Xbox One and Windows 10.
